ABOUT “INSOMNIAC” (The Sonic Sleeping Pill)

This CD was created to aid in your relaxation and to induce sleep without the need for
pharmaceuticals.
There are five tracks on this CD, all titled from existing natural and commercial sleeping aids.

1. Hot Grapefruit Juice, known to induce sleep if taken in large amounts with rind included.
On this CD HGJ is a composition of breath, gentle snoring and water simulating natural
sleeping sounds by a riverside.

2. Valium is well known as pharmaceutical relaxants bearing questionable side effects. On this
CD Valium is a metallic string composition with a strong emphasis on slowing the heart rate
helping to unwind.

3. Rosemary Tea, a nervine and a relaxant; I would give rosemary tea to all my brides before
having their make up and hair done to have them relaxed and peaceful. On this CD Rosemary
is a water-based composition, which rocks the soul like a cradle.

4. Melatonin, known as a modern supplement for insomniacs. On this CD Melatonin is a
composition of birds and strings bringing the forest and the concert hall together to soothe the
nerve.

5. Comfrey, a natural floral relaxant with the ability to increase hair gloss. On this CD Comfrey
is a composition of ocean torrents and swelling bells easing tension in the muscle.

HOW TO USE THIS CD
Each of us responds differently to sound, thus, it is important to listen to the entire CD, then
choose the sound composition most suited for your taste and psyche, in achieving relaxation.
There is a track for everyone on this CD. Some days your needs may differ and hot grapefruit
juice may not be what you need at that moment, something stronger such as melatonin or
valium may be more desirable. So be vigilant with your changing needs and follow your spirit.

VOLUME CONTROL
It is important to gage the volume level at which you listen to this CD, as the nuances within
the structures of each pill become more concentrated. At higher concentration the effect of
each soundscape is reversed, nonetheless, you will maintain the effect of calm and serenity,
while perhaps you may not succumb to sleep.

SLEEP PREPARATION
Most importantly in your preparation for the use of this CD, make sure that you are ready to go
to sleep and that you will not be disturb. Before the start of each relaxation session begin to
breathe deep slow breathes. Focus the breath from the base of your spine and take each
breath in and out for five counts. With each breath you become more and more relaxed,
continue to breathe for five minutes, and then with headphone on begin playing your favorite
track on this CD. As soon as you begin to feel sleepy lower the volume on your player or turn
the player off completely and remove your headphone.

Alternate Uses
This CD is not only for the inducement of sleep, it is also useful as an ambient soundscape in
spas, gyms, salons, stores, meditation centers, doctors office, holistic centers, and the home to
harmonize the ambient electro magnetic currents. For ambient balancing, use as desired.
